Thank God it’s Sunday...

What a weekend. Hehe, I mean it--I was so happy I found a new web gallery program and everything in The Galleria looked so good and then some fuckup happens and here I am getting slightly annoyed, then paranoid and then I went all out pissy! I’m happy we were able to straighten everything out, so now The Galleria is back in action and I am a happy camper again. I’m very surprised to see The Passion of the Christ no longer in the number one position. This weekend Dawn of the Dead reigns as the new weekend box office king with a sexy-ass $27.3 million debut. Very cool. I saw the preview to that when I went to see The Butterfly Effect, and it seemed intriguing, but I am just not up for seeing that one. My next trip to the theatre will most likely be on April 2, 2004, to see Hellboy. Actually, three movies open that weekend that I would love to see back to back--Hellboy, Disney’s Home on the Range looks freaking hysterial, and Walking Tall, which stars the WWE wrestler, The Rock. Jump about a week back (which in reality would be this upcoming weekend) and you have some more kick arse films like The Ladykillers starring Tom Hanks and Marlon Wayans, and I’ll mention this just because Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, is in it--you have Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. Seth Green is also in that one, too. It’s so nice to have BtVS alumni working together elsewhere. Taking Lives, starring Angelina Jolie, Ethan Hawke, and Keifer Sutherland also opened this weekend, and though the ensemble alone makes it an interesting film to go see, it only opened in third place. Another somewhat favorite, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, opened in sixth place. My brother wants to see that, actually I wouldn’t mind seeing that, too, it’s just a shame it didn’t do so well -- only taking in an estimated $8.6 million. My left hand is really screaming big time; I did too much typing this weekend, plus the weather really affects it when it rains, so with that, I leave you for now. More juice throughout the week.

I think that "Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" will be a sleeper. Give it some time and I bet it does well. The Passion will still be doing well long after Dawn of the Dead too. Im glad to see Dawn doing so well though, because I really dig the original cheese flick. I am godlike.
